How To Take Care of Yourself

If you are already here, chances are you already know the importance of taking a very good care of yourself. Let us get straight to the point and see how to take care of yourself.

1. Meditate

Take out time to meditate. We should all have a spiritual anchor in our life. It really works. Basically meditation is just shifting your focus to your breathing. That's it. Simple be conscious of your inhaling and exhaling. Meditation is proven to change your brain for the good. It has insane amount of life changing benefits.

2. Exercise

No, I don't necessarily mean going to the gym. What I mean is incorporate some sort of physical activity in your life. Your body is meant to engage in physical work and do tasks. Carry out some physical activity. Be it playing, walking, dancing, or any other labor. You got to take some time out for your body. Serve your body because it will serve you for life.

3. Eat Healthy. Eat Right.

As basic as it sounds, it is extremely important to eat healthy food in right quantity at the right time. When i say healthy, I definitely do not mean those boring tasteless boiled greens with literally no carbs and energy. When I say healthy, I mean everything that holds important nutrients for your body. Everything that grows on trees. Everything that grows from the ground. Everything that nature provides us. Everything that is not processed and free of chemicals. A healthy diet is not the Keto or Paleo or any other fancy diet. A healthy diet is the one that does not keep you devoid of any food group. Yes, include fun food in your diet too. Your body needs it too, if it makes you happy.

4. Express Your Emotions

You must have a way of expression. Like faeces, emotions need to be taken out of your system. So find a way of expression to deal with those emotions. It has been scientifically proven that emotions are responsible for bringing biological changes to us. Talk, write, sing, dance. Do whatever it takes but express, please.

5. Build A Good Environment Around

In order to take care of yourself, you need to take care of the environment you dwelling and developing in. You will have to clean your room. You will have to get rid of toxic friendships. You will have to surround yourself with everything that makes you feel energetic and positive about life.

6. Make Yourself Your Number 1 Priority

You should be the person in your life is most important to you. That's it. End of story. Don't force yourself into commitments that make you loose yourself in the process. You got to be your first prize in life. Value yourself enough to walk away from anything that is degrading you in any possible way.

7. Strike For Bettering Yourself

All the dreams or goals you have in life should be in alignment with becoming your best self. You will have to have a Growth Mindset. You will have to keep updating yourself. Improvement is the key. Achievements can give you more freedom, more opportunities, more experience, more happiness, more satisfaction and more choices in life. You need that amplification for a better life. Trust me.
